November the 13th, 2015: Music for our ears.
Whether you're a Believer or a Directioner, you must be very excited for the arrival of November. Something big is coming our way and it is something the ultimate fans cannot ignore. It has taken us to the edge of our seats, and both Justin and One Direction are already teasing us, giving more and more clues. But clues to what?
The mega heartthrob that has more than half of the teenage population drooling for him, Justin Bieber, and the biggest and most recognized boy band ever, that has won the heart of every girl across the world, aka One Direction, have both set to release their fourth and fifth album respectively, on the same date - November 13th of the current year. When the date was announced, they almost broke the internet. Every fan of theirs lost it, because I mean, come on: We're talking about One Direction and Justin Bieber!
Like I mentioned before, this is Justin's fourth album, and it's kind of a big deal for him, since it represents his come-back to the music industry, and the journey he has gone through to be the mature man he is now. His first album was released on 2010, the second on 2011, and the third on 2012, so basically, no one has heard new songs from him since three years ago. At least not until now. We are already familiar with the first song named “What do you mean” of his new album called “Purpose”, and the video has more than one hundred eighty million views and it has only been up for a month. Let that sink in.
On the other hand, this is One Direction's first album without one of its initial members: Zayn Malik. He had been with them since the very beginning of it all (2010) until he decided to leave his fellow band mates to pursue a solo career. Of course, every single Directioner cried their eyes out the day he announced his departure. Yet, having gone through a very long and exhausting grieving process, fans understood that he was just trying to do what was best for him and his happiness. So, it´s kind of a big deal the fact that this is the first album with only four of them remaining: Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson (I mentioned their names just in case you were living under a rock, like for the past 5 years).
The fact that Justin and One Direction are releasing such important albums on the same day has every single fan freaking out. They expect a lot from these two albums, therefore, they couldn’t contain their excitement when they found out they were going to be able to hear them the same day. The day is getting closer and closer by the second. Let´s see what surprises they have got for us this time!

American Horror Story is a terror show created by Ryan Murphy who is also the creator of the famous show Glee. This program is very dark, sometimes it goes to the extremes but it is really entertaining, believe me. It is something the world has never seen before; each season, it makes huge criticism to the modern society and doesn’t hold back. It has love, lies, suicides, murders, confrontations, rivalry and many other elements. Each season it presents a different story with new characters. The cast of the show never stays the same, only for a few veterans that I hope never leave like, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Denis O’Hare, Lily Rabe, Angela Basset and Katy Bates.
The first season is “Murder House”. This season consists in a normal family formed by Vivien (the mother), Ben (the father) and the only child Violet. They are in the middle of a crisis because Ben was unfaithful after Vivien loses their second child due to an abortion. They want to work things out, so they move to Los Angeles, to an old strange house, to have a fresh new start. This house had a pretty bad background, which includes multiple homicides. The moment they move in, weird things start to happen.
The second season is “Asylum”. This season consists in the injustice Kit Walker has to go through after being accused of frightfully killing his wife. He didn’t commit that crime. It was done by aliens. That sounds like something really crazy to say so nobody believes him and the judge thinks he has mental problems, so he is sentenced to live in an asylum against his will. This asylum is extremely religious and abusive with their patients, they don’t believe crazy people have human dignity so horrible things happen there.
The third season is “Coven”. This season is about Zoe, a girl who discovers she is a witch and is sent to a boarding school far away from home in New Orleans. That school has three more students: Madison, Quennie and Nan, and the director of the school is Cordelia, the daughter of Fiona (the worst supreme of all times). The boarding school is kind of a sorority with many history and secrets behind. They all are different girls, so there is a lot of girl drama. Also, it shows the rivalry between the white and black witches.
The fourth season is “Freak Show”. This season is about a circus made mostly of freaks, directed by Elsa Mars. This show is in danger of being closed by the people of that time, who were extremely mind-closed and discriminatory. Also, there is a killer clown on the loose. The cast of this season was out of this world, for example, the shortest woman in the world and many other interesting people with different characteristics.
The fifth season is “Hotel” which is the newest and it just started a few weeks ago. This season is about an old, kind of vintage, hotel and its owner is the vampire Elizabeth. The background of this hotel is really interesting and may have a connection with its present. Also, in this season, there is a serial killer on the loose but this one wants to play a game and his or her toy is the police, mainly one called John Lowe. Like the song Hotel California says, “you can check in any time you like, but you can never leave”.

Year 2015 has just come and in a blink it´s already ending. As you may know, we are now at Halloween, the creepiest and most exciting season of all the year. Many of us are already planning what to do the 31st, maybe go outside with our friends and play trick or treat, or go to a party, even doing creepy things with our costumes just to scare people. Well, this year I propose something really enthusiastic and fun: Watching a scary movie with your friends late at night. You may be asking yourself which may be the perfect movie to watch, well, I have great options if you think you have the braveness to watch them. here I will show you the top 10 scariest movies of all time.
10. The ring:
You may already know this movie, many people talk about it and it´s really quite famous. This movie is about a little girl who died caught in a well. There´s a video of that girl and whoever watches it has seven days to show it to someone else or he or she will die. It has a very strong scene when the girl climbs out of the well in a television screen and breaks outside of the T.V to the room.
9. It:
Have you ever wondered why so many people are afraid of clowns? Well, the reason might be this movie. This famous film adaptation of the book by Stephen King is about a clown who takes away his victims from safety and people never see them again. Is characterized by how “it” plays with the mind of its victims.
8. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:
This is a really bloody movie, it has very disgusting scenes that not everybody can handle, so if you like detailed things this is the movie for you. It starts with a group of friends on a road trip that pick up a hitchhiker on the road. Things turn out spicy when the friends realize that the hitchhiker is not what they were thinking he was.
7. The shining:
You might also know this movie, with the great actor Jack Nicholson and the famous image of him bringing out his face through a door hole. This character gets crazy and with a chain saw tries to kill his whole family in a hotel. It´s also based on a Stephen King´s novel.
6. Hellraiser:
This movie is a little bit weird. A creepy guy is brought back to life with the help of his bigger brother, but he doesn´t have skin and is not in the best condition. He has success in convincing the girl that was in love with him before he died to collect enough amount of skin for him. This is a very bloody movie and basically very weird, you cannot miss it.
5. The Sixth Sense:
I´m sure all of you have heard about this movie. It is about an unfortunate child that is able to communicate with dead people (spirits). Dr. Crowe is helping him with this big problem and to get rid of the spirits that were tormenting him. The end is really shocking and surprising.
4. A Nightmare on Elm Street:
In my opinion this is the most exciting and entertaining movie you could ever watch. It has suspense, terror, action and even a little bit of comedy. It is about Freddy Krueger, a serial killer who is killing people one by one from a group of friends in revenge of their parents that killed him when he was younger. But Freddy has a special quality; he only kills in people´s dreams. So I invite you to watch this amazing and scary movie that shows how one by one, the students start losing the battle against their nightmare.
3. The Blair Witch Project:
This movie is about a group of friends that go in an expedition to Maryland, looking for the Blair Witch. They actually find out that they are trapped in a forest being chased by the witch. The group of friends never returns from Maryland and a year later, their tape is found and is taken to the cinemas. This movie is characterized by the impact it has in the viewers.
2. Poltergeist:
A new family in town is buying a new house, it is really cheap because before, there was a cemetery but the salesman assures them that the bodies were taken somewhere else. This was clearly a lie and as the movie goes on, a bunch of unfortunate events happen to the family. Nobody is safe from the souls that torment them.

This movie is the scariest of all, THE EXORCIST. This movie has been always on the top of rankings of terror movies and since 1973, it has scared the audience at unimaginable levels. As you may all know, this movie is about a little girl that gets the devil inside her, she starts to do things that freak out their parents so they decide to call an exorcist. Do you have the courage to watch this movie with your friends?
I dare you to watch at least one of these top 10 horror movies.
